All salespeople begin on a high sales commission only. This is the usual career path to becoming a salaried salesperson, site sales manager and regional sales manager.
Responsibilities
New media advertising sales is much more than contacting leads, telemarketing and cold-calling. You really are an Account Representative. You may be the teacher in the sales presentation or the trainer answering Business Publishing questions. Or, you could be an online marketing strategist preparing quotes for advertising campaigns.
You will be responsible for new business development cultivating relationships. Prompt response to provided leads and regular customer follow-ups are required.
